Q. What is the Insured Sync button?
A. The insured sync button is not a page refresh button. This button is used to manually bring over any changes to your insureds policies, coverages and/limits. While Certificate Hero auto syncs your AMS data every 4 hours, there are times when a manual sync for an insured is needed in between. Please use this button solely for that purpose.
Q. What if I have a mid-term rewrite and need to update my policy numbers?
A. You can use the insured sync button to instantaneously sync your new policy information in Certificate Hero.
Q. Where is my policy?
A. At times you might not find the policy you’re looking for in the Policy Manager and that’s because it might be sitting in the imports button waiting to be ported in.

Q. Does Certificate Hero ingest my endorsements?
A. Unfortunately, currently we do not ingest endorsements.

Q. When I create my endorsements, does Certificate Hero automatically attach them to my certificates?
A. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have any way to track which certificates included endorsements forms.
If you know which certificates included endorsements, you can follow the steps for creating bulk revision and attach all your endorsements to multiple certificates at one time.

Q. Can I stack endorsements to make uploading & creating multiple endorsements faster?
A. Yes, you can if all the endorsements belong to the same policy.
Q. How can I quickly navigate to my certificate if I don’t know the certificate number?
A. You can use the search bar at the top of the certificate manager grid and use any of the titles from the columns across the top of the grid to quickly pinpoint or narrow in on the certificate you’re looking for.
For example, if you only know the holder’s name, you can use the search bar to type in the Holder’s name. Since it’s a type ahead, you’ll notice the more you enter the closer you are to finding the certificate you’re looking for.

Q. Where can I list schedules on a certificate?

Q. Can I select more than 1 property on my evidence of insurance certificate?

Q. How many certificates can I download in a single PDF file?
A. 500 per single PDF file. Anything outside of 500 certificates, will need to be downloaded into a zip file.
Q. Can I create a holder with a foreign address?
A. Yes, you can.
Q. Can I make edits to my certificates if they’re in a bulk job?
A. No. Any certificate in a bulk job may only be reviewed or viewed.

Q. Can I have multiple bulk jobs at one time?
A. Yes, you can. If you have different certificates in separate bulk jobs, you’re free to have multiple bulk jobs. For example, Group A of certificates may be cert #’s 1-125 and Group B certificates may be cert #’s 126-300. Each of those groups may need different revisions, so we allow both to take place at the same time.
