Certificate Hero Differentiators

How are Certificate Hero distinctive certificate issuance processes different than you may be used to?

Certificate Hero offers unique advantages that expedite certificate processing, with features like AI-driven contract analysis and rapid issuance. Unlike other software, Certificate Hero enhances team efficiency across multiple certificate issuance flows with distinctive processes.

From customizable Line of Business (LOB) profiles that simplify policy selection on ACORD forms, to an endorsement form library reusable across all insureds, and COI templates that auto-fill with pre-entered data, Certificate Hero optimizes COI issuance, boosting both accuracy and efficiency for your agency.

Policies vs. LOB Profiles

What is the difference between the Policies menu, and LOB Profiles?

Policies

The Policies menu displays policy details pulled from your agency management system into Certificate Hero, along with the mapping structure for various policy types. This is also where you can import policies added mid-term. We typically ingest a couple of years’ worth of data, so you'll also see expired policies included.

LOB Profiles

Line of Business Profiles are templates for how various policies are represented on certificates of insurance. For example, an Umbrella policy might appear on different certificates with varying limits—such as $10M, $5M, $2M, or $1M. Each unique representation is stored as a LOB profile template in Certificate Hero. Through ingestion, we compile these variations, including a couple of years’ worth of expired policies, within Certificate Hero.

Endorsement Forms Library vs. Insured Endorsements Library

What is the difference between the Endorsement Forms tab and Endorsements tab?

Endorsement Forms Library

The Endorsement Form Library is a repository of uploaded endorsement forms that can be reused across all insureds. These forms are generally blanket forms, free from any insured-specific data. With the implementation of endorsement tagging, selecting an endorsement from the library for a specific insured will automatically pull through the insured-specific data.

Insured Endorsements Library

The Insured Endorsements Library contains endorsements selected from the Endorsement Form Library for specific insureds.

COI Templates

How do Certificate Hero COI Templates differ what from you may be used to?

What you may be used to

Most of the time, when issuing a certificate within a template, it indicates that the certificate you are issuing is housed within that template. Any changes made to the certificate while processing within the template will also affect the certificate template itself.

Certificate Hero COI Templates

With Certificate Hero, our templates differentiate us from other platforms. Certificates are not stored within the selected template; instead, they are housed with all other active certificates within the Certificate Manager for the applicable insured.

Certificate Hero templates are designed to contain pre-entered policy information and data that can be used when starting a certificate. When you select a template to issue from, the system automatically populates the pre-entered policy information and data.

Importantly, any changes made to the certificate during the processing flow will only modify that specific certificate, leaving the original template intact.
