      Bringing It All Together

      Now that you have learned about some of the various features of Certificate Hero, how does this all fit together? Read below for a suggested work flow for putting together a new insured.

      Certificate Hero is integrated with the agency’s Agency Management System (AMS) in order to assist in populating and creating certificates of insurance.

      Insureds and their data will pull from the AMS and will be searchable and selectable within Certificate Hero.

      So how does this all fit together? See the steps below for an overview.

       

      Policies

      Policies are pulled through from the AMS and ingested into Certificate Hero. If a policy is not showing in the Policy Menu as available to use, it may need to be imported by a user.

      LOB Profiles

      Once the policies have been ingested or imported into Certificate Hero, LOB Profiles templates are created. These templates represent the various ways a policy is displayed on a certificate.

      Endorsements

      Endorsement Forms are then created and added to the blanket endorsements forms library that can be reused amongst all insureds. Those endorsements are then selected and linked to the insured.

      COI Templates

      COI templates are created by a user to provide a pre-filled template that can be selected when kicking-off the certificate processing flow.

      Certificate Issuance

      Once the building blocks described above are set up for an insured, certificates can now be issued within the Certificate Manager. 

      Certificates can be issued using one of the methods below:

      • Building off a blank ACORD form
        • If a COI template was created, the template can be selected after choosing the ACORD form type
      • Uploading Sample COI
      • Uploading Contract
      • Copying and Pasting Insurance Clause
      • Cloning a previously issued certificate
      • COI Template Quick Issue (from within the COI Templates menu)

      Bulk Revisions

      • Bulk revisions can take place if you need to revise multiple mid-term certificates at any time.
